You may have heard the saying, “give and you shall receive.” This is especially true when it comes to content marketing. If you want to get more from your audience and community, you need to give first. In this blog post, we will discuss how to do just that by creating giveaway content.

Giveaway content is designed to get people into your audience or community. It’s the bait that encourages them to subscribe, follow you on social media, or become a member of a Facebook group. The goal is not usually sales; it’s more about relationship-building and staying top-of-mind so they remember you when they need a product or service.

Once you’ve gotten them into your audience, then you can ask for the sale and move to selling content. Why is that important? It’s a lot easier to upsell existing customers than it is to convince new ones to buy from you.
