Remember that this rule applies to artists, too
While these rules already circulate throughout the realm of productivity talk, it’s important to bring these rules to creatives and artists.
It’s important to remember that you cannot live your whole life in one day.
Remember that this rule applies to artists, too; it’s important not to over-assign tasks each day and de-prioritize tasks when necessary. It can be comforting to know that tomorrow is another day — and another opportunity to work again at those goals.
- Find what matters to help setup tomorrow. And then plan for tomorrow, to keep that momentum going as you push towards your goals.
- You’ll get more done with fewer goals a day.
- Multitasking just kills time.
It can be tempting to over-assign tasks each day. But remember, you will not live your whole life in this day.
If you find yourself with too many things to do, de-prioritize the tasks and set them aside for another day. It may be better to delay one task than to fail at doing every task on your list.
You need time for rest, relaxation, and play. If you don’t allow yourself the time to recharge, you may find yourself constantly working.
