2022 is the year of the Renaissance Writer
It is time for us all to become generalists on the page.
In 2021, the world experienced the continuation of a technological revolution that has led to the widespread use of artificial intelligence (AI) in both our personal and professional lives. The advance of AI has given us all new opportunities to learn and grow, but there is one area where we have not kept up: writing.
The truth is, we are no longer content with the same old stories filled with tropes and recycled plot points. We are looking for a new breed of writing that includes multiple perspectives, innovative styles and a sense of playfulness to the page.
That’s why in 2022 we will celebrate the year of the Renaissance Writer.
It’s time to begin an intersection of form in:
- Novels
- Screenplays
- Stage plays
- Narrative poetry
- Songs (with narrative)
